Your points are always insightful and spot on. I think everyone here has reached the same conclusion you have, at least so far.
I decided to think more broadly about the essence of what we’re trying to achieve with Content and it really falls into two categories, of which this course focuses more on one than the other:
Either way, for Content to educate or motivate, there is significant overlap, i.e. getting it in front of people, getting them to pay attention, absorbing the content and acting on it — be that for profitable ends or not. Many examples given provide relevancy in terms of ideas and inspiration to help us make our own content more effective at getting through, educating, or driving action.
In my opinion, the lectures provide ‘guidelines’, and the forum provides not only inspiration, but sharing of a variety of implementation experiences.

- Organization/Management/Accessibility: as the mountain of content builds, we need more efficient way to organize, categorize, structure and manage content so that it doesn’t overwhelm and is highly accessible.
- Communicate/Inform/Influence/Motivate: the purpose/intent of the content, i.e. is it to educate or motivate to act.
