As Northwestern’s own world-renowned marketing guru Dr. Philip Kotler says, “The goal of every Marketer is to create more value for customers”. Sound familiar? The only real difference, as Prof. Lavine explains, is that where Marketing has two components, namely:
  1. Creating value for customers

  2. Capturing value from customers in return

from a marketing perspective, Content Strategy is really only concerned with #1.
There’s a bunch of other considerations for Content Strategy to come.
