Content Strategy AS Content Marketing

Your perspectives as an agency vet are of enormous value ~ thank you. “Your strategy is showing” and “Coke flipped the notion on its head” ~ priceless.
I was initially confused because the terms “Content Strategy” and “Content Marketing Strategy” have been used interchangeably in the blogosphere. There’s a distinct difference as we’re all appreciating more and more as we dig deeper into the course.
Connie McClung had a very insightful post that I’ll try to paraphrase here in a way that I think adds value to your post: Connie explains that Content Marketing is driving action—which is measurable, whereas in Content Strategy, we’re trying to foster understanding—very difficult to measure.

Here’s some other threads you might like that debate the meaning of Content Strategy and how it compares with Content Marketing and Journalism.
All will be revealed as we delve deeper into the course, but the threads add terrific value and link to some top articles and resources.
