Thanks for getting back on this - I was surprised because the downgrade didn’t seem to align with your comment. Thanks for your feedback. Yes, I did notice that it was more ‘radical’ than I intended, so I changed it a little. What I really was thinking is that for small businesses - either new or existing — it might be worthwhile them thinking ‘Mobile-First’ and possibly concentrating only on mobile. This assumes the vast majority of us have phones or tablets. So if small businesses with lack of budget & resources to maintain a full web presence decide that mobile is the best platform for customers to reach them — bearing in mind, there are still plenty of small businesses who don’t even have a website yet — then a mobile only presence could be the best use of their resources. I’m thinking of a strategy based around various aggregators like Yelp, plus leveraging Instagram/Pinterest/Vine and Twitter for two-way dialogue, with the main stories on Facebook or G+. The question is do they need a website ‘proper’ - that people will probably never find anyway?
