I like the way you describe it and I agree that Google Glass has some wonderful and meaningful applications in life.
I think the Canon EOS 5DIII video example you provided is superb. I suppose it might be because I enjoy the feeling of solitude and immersion in nature. It only has 524 views. I wonder whether its those dour ‘British-style’ skies :). I think it speaks well to the social DNA of we humans. Apple has done a marvelous job of combining nature and how people experience it, either alone or together — it focuses more on the human experience than nature itself.
I think you may have it with the GoPro ad. I actually shouted out loud at the moment they jumped…(didn’t realize Grand Canyon had those rock stacks). If it was shorter and folded the best clips into a story of life’s possibilities like Apple has done, then it would be amazing for any piece of communication to motivate, to enliven, to expand imagination, to spur creativity.
