  • I was also touched by the iPad Air commercial, but I couldn’t think of a title that did justice to the way I felt. Along came Prof. Lavine’s title, and the rest is history as they say.

  • I think it shows Apple’s recognition that competing on technology is a difficult road to be on. They have shifted their message from ‘product-centric’ to ‘experience-centric’…from ‘utility’ to ‘identity’. It enlivens my passions, rekindles my dreams, and speaks to my ‘inner’ purpose. Some call it the soul. It reminds me there is so much in this wonderful world worth living for.

  • Is this going to be a common theme among consumer product companies from now on? Commoditization is forcing them to focus on the intangible qualities — as with service providers. Is business imitating art? Apple messages are on a whole new level and they are trying to reach us, to touch us, in the way an artist does…
