Steve Jobs | “people don’t know what they want”
I admire your passion.
"There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living."
— Nelson Mandela
Your story is a wonderfully engaging way of explaining how Apple ‘speaks’ to you—both through its design aesthetic and its core values.
I love what Steve Jobs stood for. From his early fascination with calligraphy to his steadfast belief that computers weren’t just for geeks. Anyone who’s ever written with a broad-nib fountain pen will appreciate the satisfying feeling it gives as it glides across paper producing elegant loops and curves. The result looks so…’je ne sais quoi’. As for the iconic GUI, there’s something in our human DNA that loves collections of images and symbols. From ancient Egypt’s hieroglyphs, to the glorious iPad screen, to Pinterest, we love the look of beautiful images arranged just the way we like them…the way we want to express ourselves—it’s part of who we are.
