Video intros too long

Apologies if this was covered already, but would it be fair to assume that the degree of irritation caused by long video introductions is accentuated when you’re on a mobile platform with either iOS or Android? If I’m not mistaken, the playback speed controls for HTML5 videos are not exposed when running in browsers on those two operating systems, therefore it’s not straightforward to fast forward through the intros. Those comfortably ensconced at a desktop might have difficulty relating.

To Prof. Lavine’s point, I was shocked when I researched the broadband penetration in various countries around the world. When one considers the international appeal of this course, global Internet speeds and prices are important considerations.
