I’ll never forget my wonderful, but brief, visit to the great city of Budweiser in Germany.
Tee hee…only kidding…
Now there lies an interesting…bordering on psychological….possible reason for the mishaps.
Perhaps, just as these great pop stars who visited the country were about to say “Hello Bucharest”, the powerful branding of the world’s best known beer flashed into their minds. Suddenly they were transported to a lively club in Manhatten and everyone was chugging Budwesier. Just the thought of Bud-weiser was so powerful that, try as they might, the Buch just irresistably became Bud…and the “rest" is history as they say. Once you start a Bud…you have to finish it.
Nice examples. Very entertaining and very smart Content Strategy for trying to alter decades of conditioning. Some day I will be lucky enough to visit the stunning city of Bucharest “The Little Paris”.
